This study investigates the links between mobile gaming duration and psychological well-being among participants. Findings reveal that individuals who engage in 1-3 hours of mobile gaming report the highest levels of psychological well-being (M = 183.52, SD = 26.96), while those gaming for more than 7 hours exhibit the lowest levels (M = 155.80, SD = 48.97). A general decline in psychological well-being was observed as gaming duration increased beyond moderate levels. The ANOVA analysis for subjective well-being was not significant, F (4, 295) = 0.53, p = .715, suggesting that mobile gaming duration does not significantly impact subjective well-being. These findings highlight the nuanced effects of mobile gaming on psychological well-being, emphasizing the importance of moderation in gaming habits. Given the increasing prevalence of mobile gaming among young adults, these results underscore the importance of balancing gaming activities to promote healthier psychological outcomes. As young adults navigate the complexities of life, maintaining optimal psychological well-being is crucial for their overall development and quality of life. This study highlights the need for awareness regarding the potential negative impacts of excessive gaming on psychological health, advocating for moderation in gaming practices to foster a more balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
