Can one use motivation for leisure to their benefit in terms of achieving a higher level of well-being? To answer this question, a study was conducted to know the role of motivation to leisure in eudaimonic well-being. This study, on more than 200 college students found that ‘motivation to leisure’ positively influenced ‘eudaimonic well-being’. Motivation to leisure was found to be moderately and positively related to eudaimonic well-being (r = 0.56). Motivation to leisure explained 31% of the variance in eudaimonic well-being.
