The prevalence of internet addiction amongst adolescents has become a significant concern due to its potential mental health and behavioral outcomes. This research intends to explain whether a higher level of impulsivity is associated with internet addiction in adolescents or not. The current study investigates the link between Internet addiction and impulsive behavior among teenagers. A total of 400 adolescents were recruited and divided into two gender-specific groups. The study’s tools included the Internet Addiction Test and Impulsiveness scale. The age range was between 14 to 19 years. The study’s findings indicate a positive and significant relationship between internet addiction and impulsiveness. Additionally, male adolescents score slightly higher on internet addiction as compared to females but the differences are not substantial. On the other hand, both males and females score equally on impulsiveness.
