Optimal employee performance is tied to their confidence in achieving success and maintaining self-motivation in their lives. The interplay between self-efficacy, quality of life (QoL) and work motivation is noteworthy; as self-efficacy and QoL, subsequently affects an individual’s work motivation. Organizations that acknowledge these dynamics can cultivate a positive work environment, yielding benefits for employees and company. The research aims to investigate the intricate relationship among self-efficacy, QoL and work motivation within diverse organizational settings. A total of 101 employees, 20-45 years employed in various sectors constituted the sample for the study. Data was gathered from multiple companies across Pune City. Analysis facilitated by SPSS 20.0 software was employed for data analysis. The findings revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and work motivation (p<0.001) and overall QoL and work motivation (p<0.001). The study confirmed positive associations between Self Efficacy, QoL domains and work motivation. An MLRA analysis revealed that only Self-Efficacy (β=.286, p<0.01) emerged as a significant contributing factor, while QoL did not prove to be a significant predictor of Work Motivation. The study underscores the significant positive correlation between employee self-efficacy, QoL and work motivation. Organizations can leverage these insights to assess self-efficacy and QoL levels during recruitment ensuring a motivated workforce. Also training interventions in these areas may be implemented to enhance employee motivation and foster performance.
