Academic buoyancy is the capacity of students to recover from obstacles, difficulties, setbacks, and mistakes they run across on their academic path. Given India’s highest adolescent population and several studies revealing stress among Indian teenagers connected to tests, poor grades, homework management, as well as the competitive character of Indian schools, this paper addresses how encouraging academic buoyancy is expected to greatly improve students’ well-being, academic performance, and general development. Furthermore, it examines the specific challenges faced by students in India and argues that fostering academic buoyancy can enhance mental health, reduce dropout rates, improve learning outcomes, and promote overall growth. Additionally, practical strategies for using academic buoyancy in educational institutions to create a supportive classroom environment are recommended.
