Education professionals and community counselors are increasingly concerned about the growing number of mental health issues affecting adolescents. If a student’s mental health is compromised, their ability to concentrate and remember information in the classroom may be affected. Thus, a rational mindset is essential for the acquisition of knowledge. The main focus of this study is to examine how students’ mental health and disciplinary methods impact their academic achievement. A total of 100 tenth-grade students from various schools in town participated in the study. The data was collected using the Mental Health Battery (1971) and the academic success score was calculated as the ratio of marks obtained in the previous examination. We employed various statistical analysis techniques, including measures such as the mean, standard deviation, t-test and correlation, to thoroughly investigate the data. Based on the study findings, a significant disparity was observed in the mental well-being of individuals who attained high levels of success compared to those who had lower levels of success. There were more learners who excelled intellectually compared to those who faced challenges. There were notable correlations found between mental well-being and academic achievement.
