This study examines the awareness of the Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) Schemes and their awareness among Scheduled Caste (SC) students in the state of Haryana, with a focus on Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology (GJU S&T) and its affiliated colleges. The PMS Scheme aims to promote higher education among marginalised communities by providing financial assistance, which is vital in enhancing educational access and equity. The research examines awareness of different post-matric scholarship schemes. Primary data was collected with the help of a questionnaire. The findings suggest that while the scheme has contributed to reducing the financial burden on SC students, gaps remain in awareness generation, timely implementation, and grievance redressal mechanisms. The study underlines the need for better coordination among implementing agencies and targeted outreach initiatives to ensure the intended benefits effectively reach all eligible students.
