Worldwide, juvenile delinquency is a problem. Often in prison, juvenile delinquents are emotionally unhealthy, have difficulty in controlling their emotions, and have a poor quality of life. These traumatic experiences can result in mental health problems for juveniles, which can be managed through mindfulness-based interventions. The current study was conducted to examine the effect of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) on anxiety among juvenile delinquents. Finally, a sample of 50 juvenile delinquents was randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received weekly 2.5-hour group sessions for mindfulness meditation instruction and training and no training was taken in the control group. Paired t-test was used for data analysis. Briefly, a mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) program is designed for individuals experiencing psychological and emotional distress caused by life events, physical conditions, and physical pain and reduces stress, anxiety, and negative feelings and improves mental health and functioning. By using it, participants can promote their well-being.
