The aim of the present study was to measure the subjective wellbeing of employed and unemployed women. The sample size was 60. Out of 60 women 30 were unemployed and 30 were employed. Women in the age group of 18 years to 45 years were randomly selected for the study. Subjective Wellbeing Inventory (SUBI) developed by Sell and Nagpal was used to measure subjective wellbeing of employed and unemployed women. It was found that employment status had a marginally significant impact upon subjective wellbeing.
