A field experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2021 and 2022 at Research Farm, Department of Soil Science, CCS HAU, Hisar on sandy loam soil to investigate the effect of phosphorus, iron and zinc levels on nodulation, growth attributes and yield of greengram. The treatment consisted of two levels of phosphorus, viz., phosphorus @ 75% and 100% RDP and foliar sprays of FeSO4 and ZnSO4 @ 0.5 % (flowering & pod formation stages) and 0.75 % (at flowering stage). The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with fifteen treatments replicated thrice. The study revealed that the application of different levels of phosphorus in combination with foliar application of zinc and iron significantly enhanced growth attributes such as plant height, pod length, grain yield, and stover yield of greengram during both the years of study over the control. Among all the treatments application of T15-100% RDP + two foliar sprays of FeSO4 (0.5%) + ZnSO4 (0.5%) at flowering and pod formation stages of greengram resulted in the highest grain yield i.e. 1266 and 1334 kg ha-1 that was 33.26 and 38.09% higher than the control in the first and second year, respectively, followed by the application of 100% RDP + Single spray of FeSO4 (0.75%) + ZnSO4 (0.75%) at flowering stage of chickpea.
