The introduction of the Drip Irrigation System has made giant strides and has revolutionized the way agriculture is perceived. Over a period of time, with the advancements in science and technology, agriculture has not been left behind on that juggernaut. The farmers have heralded Drip Irrigation in Vegetable Production as a life changer. The introduction of crops such as chilies, tomatoes, cucumbers, and other vegetables has seen fortunes change and has also resulted in overall betterment of the farmers. The paper is an effort to gauge the intricacies associated with drip irrigation in vegetable production. The research is in the light of the changes that are induced post-introduction of Drip Irrigation and how they have also led towards a better environment for plants and further march on the path of sustainable development.
