Marital satisfaction plays a vital role in achieving a fulfilling married life and significantly influences the health and overall life satisfaction of individuals. This study aims to explore the role of marital satisfaction in health, and life satisfaction. A purposive sampling method was followed to select a total of 220 married individuals, comprising 120 females and 100 males in age group between 25 to 40 years old. Measures used in the study were the Couple Satisfaction Index-32 (Funk & Rogge, 2007); General Health Questionnaire-12 (Goldberg & Williams, 1988); and the Satisfaction with Life Scale (Diener et al., 1985). Statistical analyses such as descriptive statistics, t-tests, ANOVA, correlation, and regression analysis were done with the help of SPSS software (Statistical Packages for Social Sciences). Results of correlation analysis indicated that there is a significant positive association between marital satisfaction, health, and life satisfaction, and regression analysis revealed marital satisfaction as a strong predictor of health and life satisfaction. The findings of the present research will help in planning some health-promoting strategies, relationship education, and counselling programs to foster the health and well-being of spouses.
