Perceived organizational support plays a crucial role in developing employee organizational commitment. The development of commitment among employee towards their organization makes them morally obligated towards their organization which in turn leads to the development of favourable benefits for the organization like achievement of organizational effectiveness. Perceived organizational support plays a significant role in regulating the commitment of employees towards their organization. The present study has tried to investigate how perceived organizational support plays an important role in determining the employees’ commitment to the organization. The study has been carried out on 110 managerial-level personnel from the banking organizations. The result revealed that perceived organizational support is positively correlated with organizational commitment among employees.
