Compulsive buying is an essential aspect for understanding the psychological dynamics of consumer purchasing in the digital marketplace. Previous studies explain the relationship between Big five personality traits with compulsive buying. To explore the Big Five Personality Traits on compulsive buying, with the moderating effects of time pressure and emotions on e-commerce platforms. The present study followed correlational survey research. Purposive sampling was used to collect data through online questionnaires from 156 participants from Delhi-NCR with e-commerce purchasing experience. Simple moderation analyses were performed with Process Model 1 (Hayes, 2018). Finding suggests a significant interaction between emotions & openness as well as emotions and agreeableness with compulsive buying. The present study effectively explains how emotions moderate the relationship between openness as well as emotions and agreeableness and compulsive buying.
