Cloud computing is a set of IT services that are provided to a customer over a network on a leased basis and with the ability to scale up or down their service requirements. It offers an innovative business model for organizations to adopt IT services without upfront investment and promises increased flexibility, scalability, and reliability, while promising decreased operational and support costs. Usually cloud computing services are delivered by a third party provider who owns the infrastructure. Quality of service is an important aspect and hence, extensive cloud data security and performance is required. So Successful implementation of cloud computing requires proper planning of cloud because it is responsible for delivery of various services like efficient storage of encrypted sensitive data, and its authentication. However, security and privacy issues present a strong barrier for users to adapt into cloud computing systems. In this paper, we investigate several cloud computing system providers about their concerns on security and privacy issues.
