Society all over the world places paramount importance on the physical beauty and bodily appearance of a woman. This exploratory study looked at the connections between young adult female students in Kolkata’s body esteem, loneliness, emotion regulation, and self-worth. For this study, sixty female students from Kolkata were chosen via unequal stratified random sampling. The female students were all within the age range of 18 to 28 consisting of graduate, postgraduate, MPhil, and PhD students from different colleges and universities of Kolkata. From the study, it can be concluded that different aspects of body esteem have a significant relationship with self-esteem and emotion regulation. The knowledge of the role that body esteem plays in the development of several facets of self-awareness and emotional health is made possible by this study.
