The purpose of this study is to examine the difference between attributional style, emotion regulation, health, wellbeing and burnout of public and private sector bank employees. The sample includes 80 employees of public and private sector bank of India from Varanasi District. The sample consisted of managerial employees who volunteered to participate in the study. Five questionnaires namely Organizational Attributional Style Questionnaire, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, General Health Questionnaire, Scale of Psychological Well-Being and Maslach Burnout Inventory have been administered on the subjects. The data have been analyzed by using descriptive analysis, mean, SD and t-test. The results revealed that public and private bank employees did not differ significantly on the scale of organizational attributional style but they differ significantly on the four scales i.e., emotion regulation, health, psychological well-being and burnout.
