Twenty first century is the age of science to spread knowledge through networking worldwide. Most of the institutions prefer to use advanced technology in their studies. Teachers are seeking for latest methods to motivate students and facilitate the learning procedures. The aim of this research is to study the attitude and comfort level of teachers towards online education in India. It also aimed to study the relationship between attitude and comfort level of teachers and personal variables. The study was conducted in different districts of India. A total 156 teachers of various colleges participated in this study. The data were collected with the help of a Google form questionnaire. The results show that most of the teachers have positive attitudes towards online education in India. The findings also reveal that a huge percentage of teachers (93.59 %) currently use computers/laptops for teaching. The majority of the teachers (65.38%) were sufficiently aware of available online educational portals/tools. The results show a significant association at 5% level of significance for the attitude and comfort level of faculty towards online teaching mode.
