This study examined the impact of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence, facilitating conditions, lifestyle compatibility, and perceived trust on both the intention to use and the adoption of an e-wallet among adults, using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) as a framework. A quantitative, cross-sectional research design was employed to collect data from 499 participants through a Google Form. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings revealed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence, lifestyle compatibility, and perceived trust all had a significant positive effect on both the intention to use and the adoption of an e-wallet. Additionally, the study demonstrated that the intention to use an e-wallet mediated the relationships between the predictors and e-wallet adoption. Age and gender were found to moderate the impact of lifestyle compatibility on the intention to use an e-wallet.
