The study aims to understand farmers’ buying perception, attitude, and factors influencing buying decisions towards Hybrid Cotton Seed. Two districts of Punjab namely Bathinda and Mansa were selected conveniently. Total 120 farmers’ respondents were selected using a multistage sampling technique. Primary data were collected through pre-structure and pre-tested interview schedule. One sample t-test was used for the analysis of the collected data. Results of the study revealed the majority (30.8 per cent) of respondents’ age was between 40-50 years (48.3 per cent) and had more than 10 years of farming experience. The highest mean score was corresponded to the statement you prefer hybrid cotton seeds (4.40) followed by farmers recommended hybrid cotton seeds to others also (4.10). Performance and yield of hybrid cotton seed play a key role in buying decisions (4.20), and (4.13) respectively. Dealer or retailer and the quality of seed were important factors which affected farmers buying decisions.
