This study aimed to explore the relationship between adjustment and self-esteem among senior secondary school students (Intermediate Students). The sample of the study consisted of 80 students comprising 40 boys and 40 girls selected from West Singhbhum. Bell Adjustment Inventory Hindi adopted by Mohsin and Shamshad, and Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale developed by Rosenberg were used to measure adjustment and self-esteem, respectively. The result revealed insignificant gender and group (tribal & non-tribal) differences in terms of adjustment and self-esteem. The result also shows that extremely low level of correlation between adjustment and self-esteem.
