Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis revealed that most of the factors of emotional intelligence were positively correlated with life satisfaction whereas most of the personality traits showed significant negative correlations with life satisfaction. The present study also indicated that only E2 (inter-personal awareness) factor of Emotional Intelligence emerged as the significant predictor of Life Satisfaction whereas none of the personality traits emerged as the significant predictor of Life Satisfaction among the Adults.
