This study was conducted in the field of positive psychology, as it is growing as one of the most promising fields. The current fast-paced modern lives leave us mentally drained to notice or soak in those lively moments in our lives. This further delimits our psychological well-being. As young adults often face mental health issues in their college lives, the study focused on this population. It has explored the relationship between a person’s Savouring Ability, Happiness and Flourishing. Further, sub-domains of Savouring, i.e., Reminiscing, Savouring the Moment and Anticipating were also studied. The study was conducted on female college students who fall in the age group of 18-23 years. The methodology opted by the researcher for the present study was quantitative in nature. The participants were given three questionnaires to measure the aforementioned variables in line with the objectives of the study. They were the Savoring Beliefs Inventory (SBI) by Bryant (2003), the Subjective Happiness Scale (SHS) by Sonia Lyubomirsky and Lepper (1999), and the Flourishing Scale by Diener, Tov, and Wirtz (2009). The correlation analysis was utilized to understand the strength and direction of the relationship between these variables. The results pointed out a moderate positive relationship between all the variables except between Happiness and Anticipating. Hence, it can be said that the findings suggest that Savouring can be developed as a strength to act as a protective factor against mental health issues. Altogether, it can be said that the present study brings out the importance of savouring life’s moments to cultivate our happiness and flourishing in life.
