The present cross-cultural study examines the relationship between connectedness to nature and psychological well-being among young adults from two different geographical regions – metropolitan cities and regions with natural landscapes. The research aims to investigate how gender and current place of residence influence one’s subjective connection to nature. The research employed a quantitative research design, and data were collected from youths of 18 to 29 years old. The study and findings suggest that both environmental and personal factors, such as gender and place of residence, may influence how young adults feel connected to nature.
