Trapping is an indication of ability of a printed ink to accept the next ink printed compared to how well paper accept that ink. Trapping is crucial for the reproduction of secondary and tertiary colour. This research paper is designed to compare trapping between different screening technologies i.e., Amplitude Modulation (AM) Screening, Frequency Modulated (FM) Screening, Hybrid Modulated (XM) Screening and Digitally Modulated (DM) Screening in offset printing process on coated and uncoated paper. Master/Plates are prepared and printed in KCMY sequence using four different screening technologies by sheet fed offset printing process following GMG colour management system.
