The research paper aimed to understand nomophobia while also examining self-regulation, which played a crucial role in influencing how people interact with technology. The current study was conducted on 600 undergraduate students from Punjab, India, to examine the overall levels of nomophobia and self-regulation among college students, along with to determine gender disparities in these variables. Data was collected using the Nomophobia Questionnaire (NMP-Q) by Yildrim and Correia (2015) and Self-Regulation Questionnaire by Carey et al. (2004). The findings indicated that high proportion of students experienced mild and moderate levels of nomophobia and displayed medium level of self-regulation. Gender comparisons further revealed that female students experienced higher levels of nomophobia, while male students demonstrated stronger self-regulation at medium level.
