Positive emotions play an important role in mental health and well-being. This study examined the effects of emotions including optimism, love, hope, and gratitude, joy, etc. Positive emotions help to improve relationships with others, lower stress and anxiety, and boost resilience. These feelings also have beneficial impacts on physical health, including boosting immunity and reducing stress hormones. Positive emotions are important for mental health because they encourage people to get over obstacles and develop resilience. This study’s overall findings indicate how important it is to cultivate and nourish positive emotions in order to support mental wellness. This review is important because it highlights the less explored but impactful role of positive emotions in enhancing immune function, improving stress and overall health.
