In the field of psychological research, there is a growing emphasis on investigating the connection between dreams and personality traits. This area of study aims to deepen the understanding of the correlation between these variables. The objective of this research was to explore the association between individual personality characteristics and dream patterns. A sample of 100 participants aged 20 to 30 years from the Delhi-NCR region was surveyed using the Manheim Dream Questionnaire (Schredl et al., 2014) and the NEO-FFI (Costa & McCrae, 1992). Results indicated that neuroticism was significantly positively correlated with emotional aspects of dreams and deja vu experiences. Conversely, extraversion showed a significant positive correlation with nightmares and attitudes toward dreams. No significant gender differences were observed. Given that dreams reflect unconscious desires and mental activities, the study highlights the significance of dream interpretation in psychological analysis and cognitive science.
