This study examined how age moderates the relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction among bank employees, with a focus on gender differences. It was hypothesized that older individuals, having developed better coping strategies, emotional stability, and wisdom, would experience reduced stress and higher job satisfaction. The study measured job satisfaction (both intrinsic & extrinsic) and occupational stress (through twelve stressor components). Descriptive statistics, correlations, t-tests, and path analyses were used to explore these relationships for the entire sample, as well as separately for males and females. The findings revealed that occupational stress negatively affected job satisfaction overall, with age serving as a mitigating factor.
