The present study explores the relationship between optimism and psychological well-being among coronary heart disease patients. A sample of 120 CHD patients aged 45 to 55 (with a mean age of 52 years) participated in the study. Using Life Orientation Test-R (LOT-R) and Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being for data collection. Correlational analysis revealed that a positive and significant correlation exists between Optimism and Psychological well-being (r = 0.40, p< 0.01). The current study found that promoting optimism can help improve one’s psychological well-being and quality of life.
