Romantic relationships are a cornerstone of human social life, providing emotional intimacy, companionship, and mutual support. However, the dynamics of these relationships are deeply influenced by individual differences in emotional and psychological functioning. This study aims to compare emotional dysregulation, attachment anxiety and fear of intimacy among Males and Females in Romantic Relationships. Quantitative measures, such as surveys, were used to collect data for this study. Difficulty in Emotional Regulation Scale-16 (Bjureberg et al. 2016); Experience in Close Relationships Scale-Short Form (Wei et al., 2007); Fear of Intimacy Components Questionnaire (Sobral & Costa, 2015) was administered on 131 participants (Males & Females) from the age range of 18-25 in Romantic Relationship. Boxplot, Shapiro-Wilk analysis and t-test were employed as the method of data cleaning and analysis. The results firstly, emphasize the necessity of gender-sensitive interventions that support people, especially women, in creating emotional management techniques to improve the health of their relationships. Secondly, suggests that relational anxieties and emotional uncertainty may be comparable for both sexes, highlighting the value of individualized rather than gender-based approaches in counselling and therapy. Lastly, emphasizes the need for additional research into the changing dynamics of romantic relationships and for the development of more inclusive therapies for emotional challenges. Additionally, limitations that occurred during the accomplishment of this research and recommendations for the same were discussed.
