Agriculture in Haryana, India, faces challenges like declining productivity and resource scarcity, threatening traditional farming practices. Digital agriculture, driven by technologies such as AI, IoT, and ICT, offers solutions by providing data-driven insights for improved decision-making. Mobile applications like e-Mausamhau, Kisan Suvidha, Plantix, and Digital Soil Health Cards play a pivotal role, in helping farmers optimize irrigation, manage pests, and access market information in real time. These apps enhance resource efficiency, reduce transaction costs, and connect farmers to markets, improving productivity and livelihoods. However, adoption remains limited due to socio-economic barriers like low digital literacy, financial constraints, and inadequate infrastructure, particularly among small and marginal farmers. This study emphasizes how mobile apps might help farmers in Haryana achieve sustainable development, enhance agricultural results, and close the digital divide. Digital agriculture has the potential to propel a new green revolution by tackling these issues and promoting food security and socioeconomic development in rural India.
