In today’s world, technology is a critical factor that significantly enhances daily life, making tasks more efficient and accessible. This is particularly true in the realm of child care, where the internet has become a popular medium for seeking information, especially in the absence of elderly experience or traditional guidance. Research has shown that pregnant women and mothers of young children highly value the information they gather from digital sources. Moreover, the availability of Android apps makes it convenient for parents to quickly access essential childcare information anytime and anywhere through their mobile phones. The main aim of the present study was to evaluate infant parenting app from mothers of infants and pregnant women. The data was collected from 120 mothers (60 pregnant women & 60 mothers of infants) who were smartphone users. For the selection of the sample, mothers visiting childcare centres and healthcare clinics fulfilled the above criteria. The results of the study revealed that more than three-fourth of the respondents found the content of the app to be sufficient and the majority of them found it to be relevant. Two-third of the respondents rated the app clarity as very good. Likewise, results about app usability and performance showed that two third of the respondents found the app highly engaging. More than three-fourths of the respondents found the app menu very easy to use and the majority reported that the buttons were highly responsive with short response times. The study concludes that the infant parenting app was well-received by users and overall, the majority of respondents expressed a strong likelihood of continued use and a willingness to recommend the app to other mothers, reinforcing the app’s potential as a valuable resource for supporting early motherhood in India.
