Burnout is an adverse condition affecting the working population. An average working week is 48 hours, anything more than that can cause burnout in individuals (Virtanen et al., 2018). This may lead to clinical concerns like anxiety and depression. This study aims to plot the path of indicating reduced burnout in the working population, working more than 50 hours and aged between 30-45 by utilising traits like mindfulness, time management, and resilience in metropolitan cities in India. This study includes 116 people working over 50 hours a week in either salaried or business positions. A path analysis study was done using convenience and purposive sampling. Once a correlation was established, the data went through mediation analysis to establish the path and validate hypotheses. It was found that high mindfulness does significantly increase resilience and decrease burnout. It was also found that high mindfulness via efficient time management again significantly increases resilience and decreases burnout.
