HIV/AIDS is becoming a serious issue for contemporary society since it takes away the most productive and young people of families, communities, and even entire nations. Women are the primary victims of HIV/AIDS who being victims have always been treated as culprits. HIV positive women are left behind by their diseased husbands to live stigmatized challenging lives with the responsibilities of children without family support. The present study endeavored to highlight the plight of HIV-positive widows who try to face societal stigma and struggle to cope with mental, physical, and economic challenges.
