The objective of the present study is to examine the need assessment of parents’ knowledge on aspects of infant parenting such as infant growth aspects; infant health; infant nutrition; care of newborn babies; infant clothing and other products; infant entertainment and education. The present investigation was carried out in Hisar City of Haryana state. The healthcare centers, viz., Vimal Jain Hospital, Aadhar Hospital and Urban Health Centre (Azad Nagar) were visited purposively. The data was collected from 50 mothers of 1-3-year-old children who visited hospitals in OPD (Out Patient Department). Results of the study concluded that the majority of the mothers felt a strong need for infant growth aspects; infant health; infant nutrition; care of newborn babies; infant clothing and other products; infant entertainment and education. Other researchers also found a lack of knowledge among women about these infant aspects. So, there is a need for further studies to overcome the problem of mothers of infants.
