COVID-19 has affected the lifestyle of people. Lockdown due to COVID-19 has resulted in an unhealthy routine which in turn has laid down several biological as well as psychological problems. The COVID-19 pandemic has spread regardless of nationality, level of education, income, or gender, specifically it has hit the most vulnerable people. The education system is one of the adversely affected areas by the pandemic. The lockdown in response to COVID-19 has compromised the conventional educational system that has made emergence for online mode of teaching. Students have to rely more on their own resources to continue learning remotely with the help of technology like the internet, television, or radio as well as teachers also have to adapt to new pedagogical concepts and modes of teaching, for which they may not have been trained. In particular, learners in the most marginalized groups, who don’t have access to digital learning resources are at risk of falling behind. The present review is an attempt to summarize the effect of the pandemic COVID-19 on lifestyle behavior with a special focus on the teaching environment.
