Creativity is the key factor for survival of organizations in a highly competitive and global modern market. Companies may sustain in the market only by introducing new strategies of marketing, new products and new services. Employee’s creativity is the smallest unit of creativity in the organization. Several organizational and personal factors affect employee creativity. Present paper will deal with the motivational aspect of personal factors and will recollect information related to creativity and motivation and find out whether intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, or synergy between these two will be more effective in fostering creativity in organizations.
